Directors like Mani Ratnam frequently cast Abhishek Bachchan in their films. In a recent interview, Abhishek recalled how Mani Ratnam called him a few months after shooting Yuva and asked, “Are you ready?” When Abhishek replied, “Ready for what?”, Mani Ratnam simply responded, “For another one.”
Reflecting on the moment, Abhishek Bachchan shared, “I was thrilled. I believe Mani Ratnam sees something in me that I don’t recognise in myself. He empowers me so much that by the next project, I’m even better prepared. I consider this a true blessing for us actors.”
